What Happens After Your K-pop Order Arrives in Korea?
A real KIKIT order, from arrival check and POB verification to repacking, measurement, and final shipment preparation.
K-pop products ordered from Korea often arrive from different sellers, in different boxes, and with different benefits attached. This real KIKIT order shows what happens next — from checking products and POBs to repacking, consolidation, measurement, and final shipment preparation.
01. Orders begin arriving from Korean sellers
A single KIKIT order can involve several Korean sellers.
Albums, magazines, preorder benefits, and merchandise may arrive separately, on different days, and in very different types of packaging.
As each package arrives, we receive it under the same customer order and begin checking what was actually delivered.
02. We open and check each arrival
We do not simply forward the seller's box as it arrives.
Each incoming package is opened and checked against the order record so we can confirm the products, quantities, and versions received.
This gives us a chance to identify discrepancies before separate arrivals are mixed into the final international shipment.
03. Products are laid out and matched to the order
After opening the shipment, the products are separated and checked before packing.
For orders containing different versions or product types, laying them out together helps us verify that the contents match what was purchased for the customer.
04. POBs are checked with the order
For preorder and event purchases, the album itself is only part of the order.
Store-exclusive photocards, preorder benefits, and other event inclusions are laid out and checked with the products they belong to.
This is especially important when an order contains multiple albums, versions, or benefit sets.
05. Visible condition is checked before repacking
Before international packing, we also check the visible condition of the products.
We look for issues such as significant dents, crushed corners, tears, or noticeable surface damage that can be identified without opening sealed products.
If something needs attention, it can be handled before the shipment leaves Korea.
06. Seller packaging is not always the final packaging
Packaging designed for domestic delivery in Korea is not always suitable for a longer international journey.
Where needed, products are regrouped and protected with additional cushioning before being placed into the final carton.
The goal is to provide enough protection without adding unnecessary shipping volume.
08. We measure the packed carton
International shipping cost depends not only on actual weight, but also on package dimensions.
That is why we measure the carton after packing is complete rather than relying only on an estimate made before packing.
The final dimensions are recorded with the shipment.
09. Actual weight is recorded
Each packed carton is also weighed before shipment.
For this order, the packed boxes were recorded individually so the final shipping weight could be based on the actual completed shipment.
These measurements are used together with the carton dimensions when preparing the international shipment.
10. Ready to leave Korea
By the time the shipment is ready to leave Korea, we have a record of what arrived, what was checked, how the products were packed, and the final dimensions and weight of the shipment.
For us, international shipping is not just the moment a label is attached to a box.
The work begins much earlier.

From purchasing and arrival checks to packing and international shipping, KIKIT keeps the process visible.
